¹⁴ For at this time I will send all my plagues against you yourself, your servants, and your people, so that you will know that there is no one like me in all the earth. ¹⁵ For by now I could have stretched out my hand and struck you and your people with a plague so that you would have been wiped off the earth. ¹⁶ However, for this very reason, I caused you to stand:^[a] so that I could show you my power, and that my name would be made known over the entire earth.
